User Data Deletion

At WorkIt, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data from our platform, including data obtained through Facebook and Instagram login.
What Data Do We Store?
When you use WorkIt, we store the following types of data:
- Account Information: Name, email address, profile picture, and account preferences
- Social Media Tokens: OAuth tokens for connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads)
- Content: Posts, images, videos, and scheduled content you create
- Analytics: Performance metrics and engagement data from your connected accounts
- Usage Data: How you interact with our platform
How to Delete Your Data
You have three options to request deletion of your data:
Option 1: From the WorkIt Dashboard
- Log in to your WorkIt account at app.work-it.fr
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the sidebar)
- Navigate to Account
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision by entering your password
- Your account and all data will be queued for deletion
Option 2: Email Request
- Send an email to hector.gonzalez@work-it.fr
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include in your message:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your WorkIt account
- Confirmation that you want to delete all your data
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days
Option 3: Disconnect from Facebook/Instagram Settings
You can also revoke WorkIt's access from your Facebook or Instagram settings:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find WorkIt in the list of connected apps
- Click "Remove" to revoke access
- For complete data deletion, also use Option 1 or 2 above
Note: Disconnecting from Facebook only revokes access; to delete data already stored, please use Option 1 or 2.
Facebook Data Deletion Callback
When you remove WorkIt from your Facebook apps and websites settings, Facebook notifies us through a callback mechanism. Upon receiving this notification:
- We immediately revoke your Facebook access tokens
- Your Facebook-related data is queued for deletion
- Complete deletion occurs within 30 days
This page serves as the data deletion callback URL for Facebook Login compliance.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When you request deletion, we will remove:
- Your account profile and settings
- All OAuth tokens and social media connections
- All content you created (posts, images, videos, drafts)
- Scheduled posts and content queue
- Analytics and performance data
- Team workspace memberships
- Usage history and logs
Deletion Timeline
- Dashboard deletion: Immediate account deactivation, complete deletion within 30 days
- Email request: Confirmation within 48 hours, deletion within 30 days
- Backup removal: All backup copies removed within 90 days
Data We May Retain
In limited circumstances, we may retain certain data:
- Transaction records required for tax/legal purposes (retained for the legally mandated period)
- Data needed to resolve pending disputes or claims
- Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you
Your GDPR Rights
Summary of Your Rights
Under GDPR and other data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Port your data to another service
- Object to certain processing
- Restrict processing of your data

Confirmation
Once your data deletion is complete:
- You will receive a confirmation email
- The email will summarize what data was deleted
- A deletion confirmation code will be provided for your records
